Foundation Trust Receives Philanthropy Award

Members of the Pendleton Foundation Trust Board were recently informed that the Trust is the recipient of the Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. This award recognizes foundation groups that are committed to bettering their community through serving, funding and enlisting support for a range of community charitable causes. Each year the AFP honors noteworthy people and organizations from Oregon and Southwest Washington who have done so much to make their communities a better place for all people. It is their hope that others will be inspired to follow their example.

Presentation of the award was made November 15, 2011 at the Portland Hilton Hotel. This will be their 25th annual celebration of philanthropy in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

AFPIt is the goal of the Association that AFP Philanthropy Awards can help change the world with a giving heart.
